Happy 4th of July – 25 days left to purchase tickets

Hello Class of 98’,
The 4th of July is upon us with the thoughts of friends, family, rest, relaxation and just plain good times. Hard to believe that the reunion will be here in less than a month. With just 25 days left before the final head count is submitted we have just 38 more tickets to sell to hit our basic goal. I fully understand that summer is the busiest time of year for us all so I will do my best to send out as many reminders as I can. I just want to ensure everyone knows the details so as many as possible can come. The reunion is set for August 2nd @ SPiN of Milwaukee; the doors will open @ 6 pm for registration and the official festivities starting @ 7pm. Tickets are on sale now @ $30 per person which you can purchase here: http://tilt.tc/NhIq SPiN needs an accurate head count 5 days before the event or July 28th in order to provide the best experience for everyone. Please note that you will not be able to buy tickets at the door.

The rest of this email is a rehash of the last email giving you the basics on what we are getting for our tickets. To everyone thanks for taking the time to read this update and have a happy and safe 4th of July.

I will do my best to answer your questions about what we are getting out of the deal but should you have any additional questions please let me know. To sell the tickets we are using Crowdtilt which allows us to collect funds for the reunion based on a tilting point. Our tilting point is 50 tickets which will allow us 3 tables for 3 hours and a Brat/Burger Buffet with 2 sides; until we reach 50 tickets no one’s credit card will be charged.  Considering the number of people on the committee, people bringing spouses/dates and current interest I think we are already over 50 tickets anyways. You’re going to see an odd price for the ticket of $29.62 but when you pay it will be $30. The reason for this is processing fee of 2.5% which is is normal for using a credit card and actually very reasonable versus other services.

While we did have to commit to the space with a contract SPiN is very flexible on the rental of tables and the amount of food we purchase. As more people commit to reunion we can easily rent additional tables. Likewise additional people drive down the cost per person which can open the door to more food options. Should we have additional options due to a great response those finer details of exactly how many tables and what additional food options will be left to the committee to decide. We will keep everyone up-to-date on these details as things progress.

For those with food allergies or special dietary needs like a vegetarian option please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your request .
